Note that these rates include participation in multiple bands, as has been the policy. That is, as an Individual Member, you could participate in both the Jazz and Concert bands for $35 per month. Likewise, in a Family Membership, you might participate in both Jazz and Concert bands, while your child participates in both Beginning and Intermediate bands, for $50 per month.

Family Memberships include a $5.00 per member per month discount, as reflected in the rates provided here.

Members will now receive a brief reminder email on the first of each month to pay dues, as well as a monthly invoice. Dues must be paid by the 10th of each month. A $5.00 late charge will be applied to accounts not paid by the 10th of each month.

MHCB provides a grace period before billing begins so that new members can visit rehearsals, sit in, and gather information before joining. Generally, MHCB will begin billing the month following your initial sit-in. For example, if you first sit in on the 14th of September (and subsequent rehearsals that month), billing would begin on October 1st for the month of October. If you happen to first sit in at the end of the month, please speak with your conductor to mutually determine your official start date. This will then be communicated to the billing department.

MHCB is committed to making band instruction and participation available to interested people in the greater Denver area. If you have financial circumstances or needs not covered here, please contact us.

Annual Music Fee
The $15 Music Fee is an annual fee to cover expenses of maintaining the MHCB music library. This fee is in addition to monthly dues and in addition to required music book purchases. Beginning Band students are not required to pay this fee, as this program relies less on library music.
