      1. Sent out email to the band for rehearsals beginning in June.
        1. Got some responses regarding Rick’s absence and questions regarding electrical accessibility for rehearsals.
        2. Will address both in follow up email to the band.
      2. Heard back from Jeff Miguel and he is interested in the open position to conduct the Intermediate Band and Jazz Combo

      1. Still no news of an indoor location open for rehearsal.

      1. June Rehearsals
        1. Electrical Access
          1. Band members reached out regarding concern for access to electrical box or outlets. There is an electrical box located on the gazebo.
          2. Roger is to call the city to confirm power for our rehearsal location. A ladder and extension cords will be brought to rehearsals to accommodate percussion/rhythm sections needing electricity.
        2. Provided Items for rehearsals from MHCB
          1. Bell covers will be purchased as voted and approved on in previous meeting
          2. Bruce to bring hand sanitizer
  • Follow up email to Band
    1. Include need for help transporting and storing percussion instruments for rehearsals. Will get a final list from Mike
    2. Include disclaimer for COVID
    3. Previous scholarship recipients will continue to receive scholarship until weekly rehearsals resume in July. New applications will be accepted for July 2021 till the end of the year.
    4. Notify the band of Rick’s resignation.
    5. Let band know electrical outlet will be available for rhythm section during outdoor rehearsals
  1. New Conductor
    1. Jeff Miguel will be interviewing with the band on June 3 to replace Rick and conduct the Intermediate Band and Jazz Combo
    2. Next meeting we will discuss and vote to finalize potential contracts and offer for the open position.
    3. Mike to connect with Jeff to discuss music and instrumentation details regarding the rehearsal.
